Latest Press Release
Phillips Law Group partners with AMSAF to help support the reduction of crashes and fatalities on Arizona roadways road.
June 4, 2026, Peoria, Arizona – The Arizona Motorcycle Safety and Awareness Foundation (AMSAF), founded in 2011, announces the partnership with Phillips Law Group in helping to reduce crashes and fatalities on Arizona roadways. AMSAF’s mission is to help reduce crashes and fatalities on Arizona roadways. We do this through Scholarships for motorcycle training, the purchase of full-face and modular helmets, and an accident scene management course. This is made possible through grants from the Arizona Motorcycle Safety Fund, which is managed by the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety.
“AMSAF is excited to continue giving out scholarships to help educate new and present riders,” says Mick Degn, AMSAF executive director. “We can’t do it alone, and we want to thank AZGOHS director Jesse Torrez for the Grant support and Phillips Law Group for their support and partnership in helping us to make these scholarships possible,” adds Degn. “This continues to be the largest single activity we do to promote safety and awareness and to help reduce crashes and fatalities. This will allow anyone in Arizona to apply for and receive our scholarships. AMSAF has helped more than 10,000 individuals and families in Arizona since our beginning.”

About AMSAF:
Arizona has more than 300,000 registered motorcycles, which continues to grow. According to GOHS, the number of motorcycle and distracted driver crashes and fatalities have increased, resulting in the creation of the Share the Road effort. AMSAF’s vision is to foster a safe, motorcycle-riding/driver-friendly environment for all.
Mission
The working relationship between AMSAF, Governor’s Office of Highway Safety and Arizona Motorcycle Safety Fund is a huge opportunity to help educate the motorcycle community through the AMSAF motorcycle training scholarship.
